I work within a perpetual cycle of earth  >  human  >  fire  > object.

When I create something out of earth, I want it to show the nature of its origins, but I also want to impose shape and surface; the fire then has its' own effects.

 Major themes:
-repetition and patterns of components, which often leads to movement in nature.
-an individual only has meaning in context (people or mechanical components)
This relates to Gestalt Theory, where: “The whole is more than the sum of its parts”.
